Yes, we do provide free carer tickets for Christmas Nights. You must choose the carer reservation ticket when booking online. This does not guarantee the ticket and you will need to bring one of the following documentation and valid photo ID with you when you visit:
- A DLA or PIP letter
- A Headed GP/Consultant letter
- A valid Blue Badge
- Access card
These must display a valid date that covers the date of your visit, and must be presented for each person that requires a carer. Should the person require more than 1 carer, a GP/Consultant letter must be provided.
If you are not sure if you’re documentation is valid, please send a copy via email to [email protected] who will be able to assist.

The path is made up of gravel and woodchip and is not a smooth surface.
The Christmas Lights trail is presented in a natural landscape. Therefore, some of the terrain through the woodland is not always suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters or buggies and may be particularly challenging in adverse weather conditions.
Please note that some of the areas of the trail include both inclines and declines which could make it more challenging to manoeuvre wheelchairs and buggies at these points.
If you would like to be advised on shortened trails, please speak to a member of events staff who will assist you in finding alternative routes. However please do note that the shortened trails will miss several of our light displays.
